The spot extends over several kilometers, allowing for long kite rides in a safe lagoon, with a sandy bottom in most areas.

Poste Lafayette can be reached by car from Flacq or Grand Baie, about 30 to 40 minutes drive away. The coastal road provides easy access to the spot.
It is possible to garage directly near the beach, often under the filaos, a few meters from the take-off area.

The spot is very natural: there are no public toilets or catering on site. You need to bring water, food and everything you need for a self-sufficient day.
